The Wimbledon Chase studio is run by Mauricio studied art with a focus on engraving in Lima, Peru, and has managed and led experimental engraving workshops. He has also worked as an art and drama teacher in primary and secondary schools, and is passionate about generating meaningful learning for students.

Laura studied Fine Arts and Art Education in the Netherlands and taught in several schools before moving to the UK. She then taught chocolate art at the Chocolate Museum in London, and even paints using Chocolate as a medium! Laura loves how art makes children view the world around them, sparks their imagination and allows them to express themselves.

Freya is a multi media artist whose work focuses on scenes of everyday life, exploring themes of comfort and finding beauty in the mundane. She enjoys teaching art and discovering new ways of working alongside both adults and children.

Art Classes at our Wimbledon Chase Studio

Art classes are taught in our art studio at 152 Merton Hall Road (on-street for drop-off; Wimbledon Chase station 3 minutes walk).

Our classes will allow you to build skills and experiment with exciting art techniques and mediums including graphite, watercolour and acrylics, clay, pastels and inks. You’ll constantly explore new fields of study and be able to shape the course to your interests. Both new and experienced artists are welcome at our studios; our teachers are trained to encourage individual creativity in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. We can’t wait to have you!
